The short version

This site collects as little as possible. There is no advertising network here, nothing is sold to third parties, and the only personal details stored are the ones you deliberately type into a form.

What is collected

Newsletter signups

When you subscribe, your email address is stored so the newsletter can be sent to you. It is used for that and nothing else.

Contact and booking messages

The contact form collects your name, email address, the subject you selected, and your message. This is used to reply to you and, where relevant, to arrange a session or speaking engagement.

Technical information

Like any website, the hosting platform records standard request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running, and is not linked to your identity.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Embedded YouTube videos are loaded only after you click play, and at that point YouTube may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. Until you press play, no video provider is contacted.

Who else sees your data

Your information is shared only with the services needed to run the site — the hosting provider that serves these pages, and the email service that delivers the newsletter and forwards contact messages. These providers process the data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Your details are never sold.

How long it is kept

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe at any time — every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • Ask what is held — request a copy of any personal data associated with you.
  • Ask for deletion — request that your details be removed entirely.
  • Correct anything wrong — ask for inaccurate details to be updated.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, get in touch and it will be deleted.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page is updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
